Lockerpoint Museumplein B.V. Terms and Conditions (March 2024)
Here at Lockerpoint Museumplein B.V. (hereafter ‘Lockerpoint’) – we like to keep things simple. Please read our terms and conditions. By booking or using one of our lockers you agree to abide by our terms and conditions as follows.
Article 1 – Rent a locker
- A locker can be rented on site (via the payment terminal or by scanning the QR code with your mobile phone) or online at Lockerpoint.com and/or Lockerpoint.nl
- A locker is rented from 1 to 30 days (1 day = 24 hours)
- We have different-sized lockers. Please make sure your chosen locker accommodates all your luggage
- The reservation is only considered complete after Lockerpoint has received your payment and you have received a confirmation email with details of your reservation from Lockerpoint
- Reservations can be altered or cancelled with an administrative charge of € 10
Article 2 – Use of lockers
- For reserved lockers, the rental period will begin at the time the locker is reserved for, or earlier if the locker has already been taken for use
- Lockers can be accessed during the rental period, but will be considered to have been vacated if the locker is empty and/or if the door is open for longer than 15 minutes
- Do not leave identity papers (e.g., passports), travel documents, any valuables (e.g., computers, telephones, jewelry, watches, art objects, expensive clothing) or unique items (e.g., manuscripts, important files) in the locker. Do not leave living creatures or prohibited or dangerous products in the lockers (e.g., explosives, batteries)
- Make sure the locker is properly locked after depositing your luggage
- Please follow any instructions from Lockerpoint’s customer support team
- Please treat the lockers with respect and leave them in the condition you find them
Article 3 – Late or non-collection of luggage
- If your rental term expires before you collect your luggage, you will have to pay for additional rental time before the locker is opened
- Lockerpoint’s opening times may vary, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the unit’s opening hours. You will not be able to access your locker after closing time
- Lockerpoint will remove any items left in a locker after the expiry of the rental period. Left luggage can be picked up by appointment. In addition to the extra rental charge, an additional € 50 will be charged for storage and administration
- All removed luggage will be stored for 30 days and then disposed of
Article 4 – Safety & liability
- The use of Lockerpoint’s WebApp, to book and manage your locker with your phone, is entirely at your own risk
- Lockerpoint reserves the right to check the contents of lockers at any time
- The locker user is responsible for any damage caused (e.g., to the lockers or luggage)
- When using a locker, Lockerpoint will send an email with the transaction and locker details to you
- Should you lose and/or forget your locker details, Lockerpoint will only open the locker after first identifying you as the locker user. The cost of this service is € 40
- If you believe your locker details could be known to a third party, you need to inform Lockerpoint immediately
- If you believe you have had something stolen, or your luggage or locker has been tampered with, you need to report it to Lockerpoint immediately
- Lockerpoint is not liable for any damage or costs that result from your non-compliance with these terms and conditions or with any further instructions from Lockerpoint. Any liability of Lockerpoint is limited to the reasonably foreseeable damage to goods which can be accounted to Lockerpoint. Lockerpoint is not liable for any kind of indirect damages, consequential damages or any other kind of damages than damages to goods. Any clothing or suitcases that are damaged or lost will be valued at no more than twenty per cent of the actual retail price paid by you. Any goods that are older than one year will not be compensated. Any claim that is not made in writing within one day after you (reasonably could) have discovered the damage will be rejected
- Lockerpoint does not accept any responsibility for any damage unless intentional and gross negligence can be proven against the company. In such cases, Lockerpoint will compensate up to a maximum of € 500 per locker
- The use of Lockerpoint’s lockers is entirely at your own risk. Title 9 of book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code does not apply
- These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. The court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands will have exclusive jurisdiction

- Your personal data are protected under the applicable data protection legislation (GDPR), see our website for more information and for our privacy policy. Lockerpoint may for example ask for personal data to improve our services such as ensuring locker details reach you safely. We cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage resulting from false or incorrect information
- Camera images and personal data can be passed to the police in the event of any misunderstanding

- Reservations can be altered or cancelled with an administrative charge of € 10
Article 2 – Use of lockers
- For reserved lockers, the rental period will begin at the time the locker is reserved for, or earlier if the locker has already been taken for use

- If your rental term expires before you collect your luggage, you will have to pay for additional rental time before the locker is opened
- Lockerpoint’s opening times may vary, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the unit’s opening hours. You will not be able to access your locker after closing time
- Lockerpoint will remove any items left in a locker after the expiry of the rental period. Left luggage can be picked up by appointment. In addition to the extra rental charge, an additional € 50 will be charged for storage and administration
- All removed luggage will be stored for 30 days and then disposed of

- The use of Lockerpoint’s WebApp, to book and manage your locker with your phone, is entirely at your own risk
- Lockerpoint reserves the right to check the contents of lockers at any time

Here at Lockerpoint Luggage Storage B.V. (Lockerpoint) we like to keep things simple. Please read our terms and conditions. By booking or using one of our lockers you agree to abide by our terms and conditions as follows.
Article 1 – Booking online
Lockers can be booked for up to 10 consecutive days at Lockerpoint.com
The reservation is only considered complete after Lockerpoint has received your payment and you have received a confirmation email with details of your reservation from Lockerpoint
Up to 7 days before the intended use, your reservation can be altered once at no charge. Any additional changes are charged at € 10 per change
Reservations can be cancelled with an administrative charge of € 10
Article 2 – Use of lockers
We have different-sized lockers. Please make sure your chosen locker accommodates all your luggage
A locker is rented from 1 to 10 days (1 day = 24 hours)
For reserved lockers, the rental period will begin at the time the locker is reserved for, or earlier if the locker has already been taken for use
Lockers can be accessed during the rental period, but will be considered to have been vacated if the locker is empty or if the door is open for longer than 15 minutes
Do not leave identity papers (e.g., passports), travel documents, any valuables (e.g., computers, telephones, jewelry, watches, art objects, expensive clothing) or unique items (e.g., manuscripts, files without backup) in the locker
Make sure the locker is properly locked after depositing your luggage
Please follow any instructions from Lockerpoint’s customer support team
Please treat the lockers with respect and leave them in the condition you find them
Article 3 – Late or non-collection of luggage
If your rental term expires before you collect your luggage, you will have to pay for additional rental time before the locker is opened
Lockerpoint’s opening times may vary, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the unit’s opening hours. You will not be able to access your locker after closing time
Lockerpoint will remove any items left in a locker 3 days after the expiry of the rental period. Left luggage can be picked up by appointment. In addition to the extra rental charge, an additional € 50 will be charged for storage and administration
All removed luggage will be stored for 30 days and then disposed of
Article 4 – Safety & liability
No animals, or prohibited or dangerous products can be stored in the lockers
Lockerpoint reserves the right to check the contents of lockers at any time
The locker user is responsible for any damage caused (e.g., to the lockers or luggage)
When using a locker, Lockerpoint will send an email with the transaction and locker details to you
Should you lose and/or forget your locker details, Lockerpoint will only open the locker after first identifying you as the locker user. The cost of this service is € 40
If you believe your locker details are known to a third party, you need to inform Lockerpoint immediately
If you believe you have had something stolen, or your luggage or locker has been tampered with, you need to report it to Lockerpoint immediately
Lockerpoint is not liable for any damage or costs that result from your non-compliance with these terms and conditions or with any further instructions from Lockerpoint. Any liability of Lockerpoint is limited to the reasonably foreseeable damage to goods which can be accounted to Lockerpoint.
Lockerpoint is not liable for any kind of indirect damages, consequential damages or any other kind of damages than damages to goods. Any clothing or suitcases that are damaged or lost will be valued at no more than twenty per cent of the actual retail price paid by you. Any goods that are older than one year will not be compensated. Any claim that is not made in writing within thirty days after you (reasonably could) have discovered the damage will be rejected
Lockerpoint does not accept any responsibility for any damage unless intentional and gross negligence can be proven against the company. In such cases, Lockerpoint will compensate up to a maximum of € 500 per locker
The use of Lockerpoint’s lockers is entirely at your own risk. Title 9 of book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code does not apply
These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. The court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands will have exclusive jurisdiction

Your personal data are protected under the applicable data protection legislation (GDPR), see our website for more information and for our privacy policy. Lockerpoint may for example ask for personal data to improve our services such as ensuring locker details reach you safely. Here at Lockerpoint Luggage Storage B.V. (location ‘Lockerpoint Vijzelstraat’ – hereafter “Lockerpoint”) we like to keep things simple. Please read our terms and conditions. By booking or using one of our lockers you agree to abide by our terms and conditions as follows.
Article 1 – Rent a locker
- A locker can be rented on site (via the payment terminal or by scanning the QR code with your mobile phone) or online at Lockerpoint.com and/or Lockerpoint.nl
- A locker is rented from 1 to 30 days (1 day = 24 hours)
- We have different-sized lockers. Please make sure your chosen locker accommodates all your luggage
- The reservation is only considered complete after Lockerpoint has received your payment and you have received a confirmation email with details of your reservation from Lockerpoint
- Reservations can be altered or cancelled with an administrative charge of € 10
Article 2 – Use of lockers
- For reserved lockers, the rental period will begin at the time the locker is reserved for, or earlier if the locker has already been taken for use
- Lockers can be accessed during the rental period, but will be considered to have been vacated if the locker is empty or if the door is open for longer than 15 minutes
- Do not leave identity papers (e.g., passports), travel documents, any valuables (e.g., computers, telephones, jewelry, watches, art objects, expensive clothing) or unique items (e.g., manuscripts, important files) in the locker. Do not leave living creatures or prohibited or dangerous products in the lockers (e.g., explosives, batteries)
- Make sure the locker is properly locked after depositing your luggage
- Please follow any instructions from Lockerpoint’s customer support team
- Please treat the lockers with respect and leave them in the condition you find them
Article 3 – Late or non-collection of luggage
- If your rental term expires before you collect your luggage, you will have to pay for additional rental time before the locker is opened
- Lockerpoint’s opening times may vary, so make sure you familiarize yourself with the unit’s opening hours. You will not be able to access your locker after closing time
- Lockerpoint will remove any items left in a locker after the expiry of the rental period. Left luggage can be picked up by appointment. In addition to the extra rental charge, an additional € 50 will be charged for storage and administration
- All removed luggage will be stored for 30 days and then disposed of
Article 4 – Safety & liability
- The use of Lockerpoint’s WebApp, to book and manage your locker with your phone, is entirely at your own risk
- Lockerpoint reserves the right to check the contents of lockers at any time
- The locker user is responsible for any damage caused (e.g., to the lockers or luggage)
- When using a locker, Lockerpoint will send an email with the transaction and locker details to you
- Should you lose and/or forget your locker details, Lockerpoint will only open the locker after first identifying you as the locker user. The cost of this service is € 40
- If you believe your locker details could be known to a third party, you need to inform Lockerpoint immediately
- If you believe you have had something stolen, or your luggage or locker has been tampered with, you need to report it to Lockerpoint immediately
- Lockerpoint is not liable for any damage or costs that result from your non-compliance with these terms and conditions or with any further instructions from Lockerpoint. Any liability of Lockerpoint is limited to the reasonably foreseeable damage to goods which can be accounted to Lockerpoint. Lockerpoint is not liable for any kind of indirect damages, consequential damages or any other kind of damages than damages to goods. Any clothing or suitcases that are damaged or lost will be valued at no more than twenty per cent of the actual retail price paid by you. Any goods that are older than one year will not be compensated. Any claim that is not made in writing within three days after you (reasonably could) have discovered the damage will be rejected
- Lockerpoint does not accept any responsibility for any damage unless intentional and gross negligence can be proven against the company. In such cases, Lockerpoint will compensate up to a maximum of € 500 per locker
- The use of Lockerpoint’s lockers is entirely at your own risk. Title 9 of book 7 of the Dutch Civil Code does not apply
- These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. The court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands will have exclusive jurisdiction
Article 5 – Use of data
- Your personal data are protected under the applicable data protection legislation (GDPR), see our website for more information and for our privacy policy. Lockerpoint may for example ask for personal data to improve our services such as ensuring locker details reach you safely. We cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage resulting from false or incorrect information
- Camera images and personal data can be passed to the police in the event of any misunderstanding
